"Felt Safer Than I Expected"
We went to Lion Country Safari last weekend, and I’ll admit I was a little nervous about driving through with the animals so close. But it felt safe the whole time. There seemed to be staff around, the signs were clear, and as far as I could tell, everyone was following the rules. You keep the car doors shut, and I didn’t notice anyone doing anything weird. My kids had a great time, and I wasn’t nearly as stressed as I thought I’d be, which is always a win. I’d definitely consider going again.

"Fun giraffe feeding experience with a small wait"
We had a really nice time feeding the giraffes, and the kids were absolutely thrilled. The line did move a little slower than we expected, but to be fair, the staff was friendly and seemed to be doing their best to keep things organized. The animals looked well cared for too, which made the experience feel good overall.

"Something Felt Off"
I didn’t have much fun. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it never really did. Maybe it’s just me, but it almost felt like the whole thing was set up to look more entertaining than it actually was. Like they knew people would show up anyway, so why bother making it enjoyable?

The animals all looked really calm and comfortable, which made me feel good about the place right away. It just gave me the sense that they’re being cared for properly, and that peace of mind matters a lot to me...

Overall, it works okay, but I found some of the buttons a little confusing and the text wasn’t the easiest to read. It might just take some getting used to, but a clearer layout would make the experience much smoother.

"Pretty chill for a Saturday"
We went on a Saturday and I thought it was gonna be super packed, but it wasn’t bad at all. The drive-thru kept moving steady, so we didn’t feel like we were just sitting there forever or being rushed through. The walking area had some people around, but the lines were short and easy. It ended up being a really nice day and way more laid-back than I expected

"Really Enjoyable Visit"
I had a really great time here. The staff were super helpful and were happy to answer all of our random animal questions without making us feel rushed. It felt like they knew the animals well and genuinely cared about them. Overall, I’d definitely say it was a worthwhile visit and I’d be happy to go back.

"We had a really nice time driving through…"
We had a really nice time driving through and getting to see the animals so close up. The kids were totally into it, which makes the slow parts easier to deal with. A few sections did move kind of slowly, but then again, you’re also just sitting there watching animals wander around, so it wasn’t exactly a bad thing. The staff at the entrance were friendly too, which always starts things off on a good note.

I was feeling mentally drained that day, so I really appreciated how clear the signs were. We found everything easily without having to overthink it, which made the whole experience a lot less stressful.

"Decent Safari, But the Waiting Was Brutal"
The safari itself was fine, but we spent way too much time just standing around in lines. Getting in took forever, and the food lines were just as bad. They kind of make it sound like everything will run smoothly, but that’s vague compared to the reality. With kids getting restless the whole time, it was hard to really enjoy the day.

"Easy parking, no stress"
Parking was way easier than I thought it’d be. We got there late morning and still found a spot without driving around forever. The lot was simple to figure out and close enough to the entrance, which was a huge help with kids and bags in tow. No real complaints from me, it all went smooth.

"Such a Fun Day with the Kids"
We had such a great time! Being able to get super close to the giraffes and zebras right from the car was really cool, and the kids were especially excited about feeding the birds. It made for a fun, easy day out, and we’d definitely go back again

"Quick fix, but felt a bit brushed off"
They answered quickly and did fix my question without any real problem, but the whole interaction felt kind of rushed. I was glad it got handled, I just felt a little dismissed instead of actually listened to.

"Better Than I Expected, With a Few Slow Spots"
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the drive-through part of Lion Country Safari, but it ended up being a fun experience. The roads were mostly smooth, and we were able to take our time looking at the animals without feeling like we had to hurry along. There were a few bumpy patches and some stop-and-go moments when traffic backed up, which I didn’t love, but it wasn’t enough to ruin the visit. My kids had a great time, and overall it was more comfortable and enjoyable than I expected. I’d give it 4 stars because it was definitely worth doing, just needs a little better flow in some areas.

"Fun day, just a bit pricey"
We had a really good day overall and everyone enjoyed it, but the ticket prices felt a little high for us by the time we added everything up, so while I’d definitely consider going again, it would probably be when there’s a deal or some kind of discount because that would make it feel a lot more worth it.

"Fun Animals, Pathetic Bathrooms"
I had a nice time seeing the animals, but the bathrooms were pathetic. The floors were wet, the trash was overflowing, and the smell was awful. For what they’re charging, you’d think someone could manage the basic job of checking and cleaning them more often. It’s a shame because the rest of the visit was enjoyable, but the bathroom situation really dragged it down.
